Two plastic bags containing chicken were observed on the kitchen sink. The internal temperature of the chicken was measured to be between 1C to -1C. The staff stated that the chicken was brought out for use as the facility opened for the day. , , Please ensure food items that require temperature control are brought out from the cooler when you are ready for preparations.
Personal items such as jackets and bag were stored with food items on the food storage shelf located at back storage area. The staff present removed the personal items during inspection., , Ensure personal items are always stored away from food to prevent cross contamination.
The back exit door had a damaged weatherstripping. Light from outside can be seen underneath the door at the right side. , , Replace/repair the weatherstripping to help prevent pest entry into the facility.
Clean pizza cutters were stored on an unclean storage groove at the front service area. The staff present was advised to move the cutters and storage utensil for washing and sanitizing during inspection., , Please ensure the pizza cutters storage utensil is washed of often as required (every 2 hours if actively in use to store used pizza cutters). Set a 2-hour timer to serve as a reminder to wash used pizza cutters and storage utensil.
