When staff were interviewed, they were not aware of the employee sickness policy. The operator/manager was not present on site at the time of inspection. The operator was contacted offsite and was requested to provide the policy. Although a staff sickness policy existed, the policy itself was broad and general in scope., , Requirement:, Ensure a comprehensive written employee sickness policy is in place and that all staff are aware of and understand the policy. Staff must be aware of when to report symptoms and when they must be excluded from work.
