*Two plates of food were being saved for residents—one covered with a napkin and the other with a plate cover. Both plates were found stored at room temperature on the dining room tables. Staff reported that the residents were still sleeping. It was reviewed with staff that food must not be held at room temperature, as this places it in the temperature danger zone. Food intended to be saved should be properly covered, refrigerated promptly, and reheated before service or placed into a hot holding unit. Corrected: Both plates of food were discarded on site.
