6 mice were found in traps (4 near back door area, 1 in the hall behind the butcher, 1 in the deli). Last pest control report dated Dec 29 stated 0 pests found. No listing or schematic of traps was available at time of inspection. Droppings were found on a low ledge in the hall from the back door towards the produce area. Specific areas in the bakery, deli, and grocery areas need cleaning., -Coordinate with professional pest control company to enumerate and reset all traps, determine points of entry, and suggest other areas of improvement. Minimum weekly visits should be taking place during this time, -Provide a listing or schematic of all traps in the facility, -Ensure staff are thoroughly cleaning all areas of the facility. Highly recommended to use cleaning checklists during infestation so that areas and equipment are not missed, and so managers can ensure that all areas are covered, -Ensure all open food products are stored in sealed containers when possible, -Bakery – debris observed under the dishwashing sinks, and bucket of chocolate icing has remnants on outside. Thoroughly clean, -Deli – floor under and behind the 3-door upright freezer has an accumulation of grime, -Grocery – bread debris observed beneath bottom row of bread (near tortillas). None of the packages reviewed appeared to have chew marks, but operator to have staff inspect every bag of bread, -Grocery – shelves with white sugar need cleaning. Recommended to have staff lift bottom shelves for cleaning and monitoring for nesting areas when turning over products, -Hallway towards produce – remove wooden crates from ground to declutter
