Staff were observed assisting customers at the cash register and then dispensing ice-cream into cones, without proper hand hygiene in-between the tasks. During the inspection, the manager placed a box of gloves by the ice-cream dispenser to remind staff to wash their hands.
The food handling permit posted in the facility had expired. A copy of the valid food handling permit was printed and posted at the time of inspection.
The floors in between the equipment, such as the cook line, had grease and debris build up.
