Pre-cooked pizza slices were found in a hot-holding cabinet and were measured at 35-37C internal temperature. The hot-holding cabinet was set to 35C. The food was discarded at the time of inspection., , There was no probe-style thermometer present to monitor the internal hot-holding temperature of the pizza.
The 2-compartment sink was not in use- the basin were dirty and dead bugs were noted in the basins. There was no detergent and approved sanitizing solution present for proper dishwashing of utensils and equipment.
The two-compartment sink area was not supplied with liquid soap and paper towels in dispensers, required for handwashing purposes.
There did not appear to be any form of pest control program set up in the store.
Open, unsealed foods were being sold from out of their original packaging, and pre-made pizza was being sold by the slice, contrary to the restrictions on the Food Handling Permit. Currently, only pre-packaged foods and limited beverages are permitted to be sold at this location.
