There has been an improvement in units with less overfilling. A couple of seafood items were found overfilled during the inspection and were rearranged in the unit.
1) Several loading dock doors had gaps that will allow the entry of pests. Repair the doors so that no gaps are found. , , The manager has contacted a contractor to repair the door. , , July 11, 2023 Most of the loading dock doors had new weatherstripping. Two doors still required additional weatherstripping.
1) Several lights were burned out in walk in coolers and freezers. Replace the light bulbs so that appropriate light levels are achieved. , , The manager has contacted maintenance staff to replace the bulbs. The bulbs are on order. , , July 11, 2023 Lights in the walkin freezer in the seafood department were replaced.

1) Lights in an open cooler section with yoghurt and lights in a closed freezer with ice cream were burned out. Ensure that lights are working in areas where food are stored.
REPEATED VIOLATION, , 1) Debris including rice, flour, and sugar were found under shelving units in the dry food section. Ensure that the areas under and around the legs of shelf units are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to prevent the attraction of pests and food contamination. , , July 11, 2023 Walmart has added additional staff to address food debris in the aisles. There was still loose dry foods on the floor, especially rice. Staff were told to take more care when stocking shelves and to remove packages that may be torn.
