Non conforme** Cleaning cloths – used, wet and dirty – were observed in a dry container in kitchen area and not stored in sanitizer solution when not in use. Store wiping cloths in an approved sanitizer solution at the proper concentration when not in use.
** Sanitizer spray bottle was observed without label in kitchen area. All chemicals and cleaners must be stored in containers that are clearly labeled with contents to prevent the contamination of the food or food area and to prevent the mixing of chemicals. Please clearly label cleaning bottles with their contents.
** Observed food handlers using hand sink for rinsing, dumping, cleaning of food utensils. Hand sinks are designated exclusively for handwashing. Using hand sinks for food-related activities can contaminate the sink and discourage proper hand hygiene practices. Use desginated sinks for utensil cleaning and food-related activities. Staff were educated on proper hand sink use during the inspection.

Store all non-food items, including personal belongings, in a designated area separate from food, utensils and food-contact surfaces. Food items must be stored in a manner that prevents contamination., , ** Scoops and bowls observed in bulk food containers with dirty handles touching food items, including and not limited to: sugar. Ensure the scoop handles are positioned in a manner that does not contaminate food or stored outside of the food ingredient in a sanitary manner., , ** Food and/or food equipment was stored on dirty floor and chairs. Storing food or food equipment on the floor/chairs increases the risk of contamination and impedes proper cleaning. Please ensure all food and/or food items are stored off of the floor and stored in a sanitary manner.
