Extreme accumulation of ice was noted on several of the chest freezers, some to the point that the lids do not close completely., Freezers require a defrost cycle to remove the build-up of ice and ensure that the lids close properly.
Several chest freezer lids are being held together with electrical tape. , Equipmemt must be smooth, water-resistant, easy to clean and in good repair. The electrical tape must be removed, and the freezer lids repaired/replaced.
