*Paper towel dispenser was empty at hand sink in the north servery. Restock dispenser and ensure hand washing supplies are available at all times.
*Resident food items noted to be stored in some refrigerators/freezers in serveries. Products were labelled. Discussed to ensure an area in cold storage is also designated and clearly labelled for resident food items. Reorganize cold storage areas to prevent cross contamination.
*Staff personal beverage was found in a cupboard the north servery. Remove and ensure staff personal items are stored in staff designated area, review with all staff. Corrected on site: beverage was removed by care staff.
*Transitional strip missing on the servery flooring to carpeted sitting area in the north servery. Install transition strip.
*Very stained coffee cups were found in the cupboards in the north and south serveries. Reclean cups and ensure cups are in clean/good working condition., , *Paper place mats were being used as liners in cupboards in the north and south serveries. Paper place mats were no longer in good condition. Replace paper mats with cleanable liner.
*Storage areas (cupboards and drawers) in all serveries were disorganized. Items not stored in labelled designated areas. Single use items like utensils/ takeout containers were not properly stored. Reorganize storage areas to allow for proper cleaning and pest control.
