*Cupboards in the servery areas was used to store resident personal items. Request labelling of cupboards to reflect separate designated storage area for residents’ items. Area relabelled during inspection.
*Measuring cups were found in ice storage containers in the freezers. Another measuring cup found in a container of oatmeal. Discussed proper scoop storage. Ensure scoop handle is not contacting bulk food item or store scoop in clean container or place scoop into dishwasher after use. Measuring cups were removed. Manager indicated he will review with all staff.
