Review this requirement with all staff.
*Unwrapped tea bags were found not protected from contamination. Tea bags were stored in an open container. Change storage practice. Ensure tea bags are protected from contamination, store in a clean container with a lid. , *Tea bags, instant coffee mixes, cups, lids, coffee and tea condiments were stored next to the hand-washing sink. Change storage practice to ensure all drinks related items are protected from contamination (e.g. splashing from hand sink, soap etc).
*Staff water bottles were stored next to the hand washing sink and beverage station. Staff purses and bags were found in the storage area under the sink and next to coffee urns. Change storage practice. Clearly designate and label areas for staff to store their personal items to prevent cross contamination.

*Build up of debris was found in the Cambro holders used to transport food products to the serveries. Clean out holders and add task to routine cleaning schedule. Corrected later in the day: manager sent photos confirming holders were cleaned., , *Build up of ice on the plastic curtain leading into the walk-in freezer. Investigate and ensure freezer is in good repair. Corrected later in the day: Manager sent photo showing ice was removed and maintenance is investigating.
*One staff lunch was noted to be stored in milk cooler next to jugs of milk. Discussed with manager to ensure staff store their personal food items in the dedicated staff area. Corrected on site. Lunch was relocated to staff room.
