The operator stated the sandwiches are not for sale and are for display to show the ongoing promotion. High-risk food such as sandwiches should not be stored at room temperature as harmful bacteria can grow. Post the promotion sign for the sandwiches, however, refrain from storing them at room temperature. The operator disposed the sandwiches at the time of the inspection.
Cardboard used as a liner on the shelves in the beverage area are stained from spills and is visibly dirty. All surfaces where food comes into contact with must be smooth, durable, impervious to moisture and easily cleanable. Remove the cardboard and replace with a liner that meets the conditions as stated above.
