Keep boxed pop syrup boxes off the floor in the tavern. Recommend be kept on wheeled shelf so can be easily moved to clean the floor underneath.

The following areas need more thorough cleaning:, -right walk-in-cooler shelving, -inside of some of the drawers that have a grey plastic storage insert (to right of Jet-Air oven), -bottom of doors into walk-in-cooler, -around legs of equipment, along walls in a couple of areas where some debris is accumulating and under some of the shelving units in the dry storage room, -floor along legs of equipment in the Morningstar kitchen; mostly improved, , Clean these areas/items are ensure they are cleaned more often., , There was protective stickers/film left on dishwasher and underside of shelf in the Morningstar kitchen and dishwasher in the main kitchen. Sticker is starting to peel off/damaged, making cleaning of these items difficult. Remove the protective stickers.

A foodhandler had long artificial nails. Was using a nail brush to get under nails when handwashing but need to remove nails. Was advised were getting them removed tomorrow.
Cooked pasta was sitting on counter; had been partially portioned but no one was working on it at this time; was at 12C. To be put into cooler until staff available to finish portioning it. Corrected during inspection; put into cooler.

Some foodhandlers had cloths hanging from apron strings (to handle hot items) but were using them to continually wipe hands on during foodhandling. These cloths must remain clean to prevent contamination of hands., , Some foodhandlers were not turning off the taps with paper towel after handwashing and were not always washing hands between handling residents used plates and making beverages/dispensing soup. Hands are to be washed between handling dirty and clean utensils and between dirty items and any foodhandling. Taps are to be turned off with paper towel after handwashing to prevent re-contaminating hands. , , Some foodhandlers were wearing several bracelets/rings. Bracelets and rings inhibit proper handwashing and could end up touching food/ice. Remove jewelry.
Cooling logs when cooking high risk food items were no longer being done. Please continue with cooling logs again. Also recommend when checking hot-holding temperatures that these are also recorded.

Store at least 6 inches off the ground., , There were some personal items on a shelf also used to store some items used for food service/packaged food items. Store personal items separately.

Handsink in tavern is also being used to store items for cleaning/scrubbing glasses. Sink for handwashing is to be used for handwashing only. Alternate sink in bar could be used for either handwashing or pre-cleaning glasses but barrier would need to be installed between it and the ice well. Also ensure that soap and paper towel are located within close proximity to sink that will be used for handwashing.

Cutlery and small condiment cups were not being placed on dishracks in a manner so that all parts of these items were being exposed to the dishwasher spray for proper cleaning and sanitizing. Utensils were stacked on top of each other and the cups were sticking together. Discussed during inspection. Corrected during inspection.
