PassThe concentration of chlorine sanitizer was too low in one of the spray bottles. To be at 100-200ppm. Was corrected during inspection.
There was no paper towel at the mobile handwashing sink. Corrected during inspection.
Leads for the volunteer food tent should take at a minimum the AHS Food Safety Course for Special Events (is online at www.ahs.ca/eph).
Disposable utensils for diners' use were stored with the eating-end up. To be stored with eating-end down to prevent someone from contaminating eating end when grabbing one. Corrected during inspection.
The wastewater tank was not under a canopy/tent and had a hole in the top where the hose went in. There was no cap covering the hole. Cap to be covering the hole with a hole in the cap just large enough for the wastewater hose to avoid rainwater getting into the wastewater tank (could overfill/overflow) and to minimize potential smells from the wastewater tank.
The mobile sinks for handwashing and for rinsing dishes (was advised are rinsed and returned to caterer) were located outside the tent. Keep inside/under tent so close for use and to keep sink and supplies clean.
