A janitorial mop handle was positioned against foam containers used for raw meat packaging in the back storage/spice area. Although the containers were covered, this is not an appropriate area to store unsanitary cleaning equipment. Please ensure all packaging and storage containers are protected from contamination at all times. The mop was removed from the area during the inspection. Education was provided.
A foul odor was noted at the back storage area near the grease interceptor. Please ensure that the grease interceptor is regularly cleaned and maintained.
Scoops/spoons in the spice shelf area at the back were not stored in a container. Please ensure that utensils are stored properly and protected from contamination at all times. The utensils were then placed in a container that can be cleaned and sanitized.
